Black History Month: Learn Genealogy Tools, a workshop with a special focus on researching African American genealogy, is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Cobb Regional Library.

AfricanAmericanHistoryMonthCarolyn Crawford, head of the Georgia Room, Cobb County Public Library System’s genealogical and historic collection, will lead the program. She will show participants how to track their ancestry with African American genealogy tools. Online resources and the Cobb African American Connection collection of historical resources are available through the Georgia Room at Switzer Library.
