Good morning!

Last week my winner was about horses, but this week my winner is about a very different animal. It’s called Make way for ducklings by Robert McCloskey. It won the Caldecott Medal in 1942. This is a very fun book. It is about a family of ducks who decided to make their home in the middle of Boston Public Garden in Boston, Massachusetts!

A park sounds like a nice place for a family of ducks to live, don’t you think? I wonder what sorts of things the ducks do at the park. Of course, you can read this book to find all about the ducks! Or you can visit the Boston Public Garden to see them!

Happy reading!

Your friend,
