Vinings Library was opened in 1990 to serve Southeast Cobb County. This is the area called “The Platinum Triangle”, or the I75-I285 interchange. The Vinings area was an established community in unincorporated Cobb County. The area is one of corporate offices having about 1/3 the number of office space as downtown Atlanta. The residences are a mixture of homes, condominiums and apartments. The Vinings Village is a retail area with high end stores, and restaurants which attracts shoppers and diners from the Northwest Atlanta area. Vinings is a mid-sized community library of the Cobb County Library System containing 42,400 pieces of materials.
