History

The Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center, opened in December 2017, is a joint-use project of the library and Cobb County P.A.R.K.S. It replaces the old East Marietta Library. Along with traditional library services, including a computer room, Children’s area, and Teen area, Sewell Mill includes a Creative Studio which houses sound booths for audio recording, a recording studio, a video production room with a green screen, and hardware and software for creative projects.

Study rooms, recording studios, a conference room, a digital maker space commons, a community room, an art gallery and art classrooms, an outdoor amphitheater and a black box theater

What is Cosplay? Cosplay, a combination of the words costume and play, is a performance art in which participants, called cosplayers, wear self-made costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character.
