A presentation on the Tuskegee Airmen, America’s First Black Military Pilots, by Dr. Jennifer Dickey, assistant professor and Coordinator of Public History at Kennesaw State University, is scheduled for Tuesday, August 12, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Powder Springs Library.

Tuskegee Airmen: The Segregated Skies of World War Two, a traveling exhibit on loan from the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State, is on display at the Powder Springs Library through August 28. The exhibit explores the challenges and triumphs of the first African American pilots to fly in combat in the war.
