March 18th is this month’s start date for Gale Courses offered by Cobb County Public Libraries. The online, instructor-led courses cover a variety of topics to choose from that are free for Cobb County library cardholders.

Gale Courses are six-week, 12-session classes. New sessions start monthly. You can take the interactive Gale Courses at your own pace anytime from your home, office or anywhere else with Internet access.

There are over 350 courses to choose from including business, wellness, technology, arts, hobbies, and more.

Beginning Writer’s Workshop: Learn how to write creative pieces of literature with literary techniques, peer reviews, and constructive criticism.

Introduction to QuickBooks 2019: Learn how QuickBooks makes it easy to set up a chart of accounts, create and print invoices, receipts, and statements, track your payables, inventory, and receivables, and generate reports.

Introduction to the Medical Laboratory: Learn how to perform common tests, as well as specimen collection, handling, and processing. Gain key skills for working with laboratory instruments and computer systems

Introduction to Microsoft Word 2019/Office 365: Learn the basics of Word 2019 needed to write and edit text and to create, format, and organize documents.
