Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention will be presented at the East Cobb Library on Tuesday at 2 pm. The one-hour demonstration class is the first of four offered in September with support from Cobb Senior Services at Cobb County public libraries.

Indoors or outside, Tai Chi as exercise helps seniors improve balance and avoid costly falls injuries.

Fitness Education Specialist Tara Vroman will lead the free East Cobb Library class covering movements to help improve your overall state of being, relieve arthritis, reduce blood pressure, reduce stress, and improve balance control.

All are welcome, but space is limited for the September 5th class. Please call to reserve your place at (770) 509-2730.

Cobb Senior Services is a lead community partner for the Cobb County Public Library System’s Falls Prevention Awareness Initiative in September.
