The East Cobb Library is pleased to partner with local certified Yoga instructor, Toni Needel, as part of our Senior Wellness Series.  Join Toni as she leads the class through Yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mind-calming techniques.  All poses and stretches will be completed while in a seated position, perfect for individuals who have difficulty getting up and down from the floor. Powder Springs Library is having a monthly Yoga Group on Saturday afternoons. The group will be led by Kiana Jackson. Katie Locke, a certified yoga instructor, is offering a basic beginners' yoga class for adults, ages 17 and up. This class will help you stretch out the body and connect body/mind awareness through basic asana poses and pranayama breathing techniques. Students are not required to have previous knowledge or experience with yoga. Come with a mat, a water, a towel and a willingness and openness to learn.
