Join us for our  Tween STEAM Club: having fun with Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.  Recommended for ages 9-14! This week: Romare Bearden Collage Art. In celebration of African American History Month, we’ll look at the art of Romare Bearden . Romare Bearden was an African American author and artist from the twentieth century. He created art in many forms, but is best known for his collages. You’ll create your own Romare Bearden inspired collage.

Born into slavery, Horace King and his owner, a contractor, became prominent covered bridge builders in Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.
