The theme for the 2017 Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World”, and on Tuesday, June 13th, Corporal Youlanda Leverette of the Acworth Police Department will be coming by Acworth Library to teach kids about how they can play a role in society to help make the world a safer place.

Cpl. Youlanda Leverette

Cpl. Leverette will be stopping by from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm to host story time and to give kids the opportunity to have all their questions about public safety answered. After story time kids will get to make a craft with Cpl. Leverette and learn about what it’s like to be a police officer.
