Join the resistance to fight the dark side at the Star Wars themed party at West Cobb Regional Library today from 5 pm to 7 pm!

To celebrate the December 15th release of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, we are hosting a bash for Star Wars fans of all ages. Test your Jedi skills by playing Star Wars themed games, use the force to create crafts that are out of this world, take photos at our photobooth and explore the galaxy with a bunch of other fun activities.

You can show off your marksmanship with our Stormtrooper Beanbag toss and prepare yourself for a battle with the dark side by navigating our obstacle course designed to train young Jedis. In addition to our Jedi training we will also be building our own droids and starships and crafting lightsabers out of glowsticks during the December 1st event.

Pick out your favorite lightsaber and come dressed in your best Jedi-wear to celebrate with everyone in the rebel army. Whether you are a youngling or a seasoned Jedi we invite you to come gab about everything you love about Star Wars.

Haven’t seen Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens yet and want to catch it before you go see the new Star Wars movie? Cobb County Public Libraries has got you covered. West Cobb Library will be showing The Force Awakens on December 13th from 6 pm – 8:30 pm and Switzer Library will be having a movie day on December 16th from noon – 4 pm that kicks off with The Force Awakens, followed by a viewing of Spaceballs.
