Experience a blast from the past with Roman Reads, a themed family storytime at Mountain View Regional Library on Saturday, October 21 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.

Presented by Wheeler High School’s Junior Classical League (Latin Club), Roman Reads will feature stories from Roman and Greek mythology. Elementary aged kids are invited to come and learn why spiders weave webs by hearing the story of Athena and Arachne. Then join us after storytime for a hands-on craft activity.

All children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

This event is free and open to the public. To register please call (770) 509-4964 or come by the Youth Services Desk.

Mountain View Regional Library is located at 3320 Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta 30066

Mark your calendars for next month’s Roman Reads “Why Seasons Change: The Story of Hades and Persephone” on November 11, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
