The Powder Springs Library is hosting the Resume Workshop for Teens on Saturday, May 3, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. The two-hour workshop provided by CobbWorks is designed for teens who may be beginning their search for summer employment. The workshop is free; registration required.
The workshop will provide teens help and assistance for effectively designing and producing a resume and tips on interviewing. With opportunities narrowing for young people to find summer jobs, making a positive impression to employers is critical for success. And, time is limited. According to news reports, many season jobs will be filled before June.
The Powder Springs Library is also teaming up with CobbWorks for the Resume Writing for Adults on Monday, May 5 and the Interviewing for Adult Job Seekers workshop on Monday, May 19. Both adult sessions are from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
