Are you an aspiring baker? Do you love whipping up delicious dishes in your kitchen?
Whether you’ve been cooking your whole life or you’re just starting out, Kemp Memorial Library has a club for anyone interested in cooking.
The Kemp Cooking Club meets on the third Thursday every month from 1 pm – 2 pm. Each gathering has a different theme. Free and open to the public, the club is an opportunity for food enthusiasts to get together to swap recipes, try new foods, and talk about their favorites in a fun and relaxed environment.
Upcoming meets include:
May 16: In honor of “Get Caught Reading” month, bring in a dish inspired by one of your favorite books.
June 20: Peaches. Bring any recipe with peaches.
July 18: Berries. Bring your favorite berry-centric dish.
August 15: Ice Cream Sundae Bar. To celebrate the end of summer we will be having our annual Ice cream Sundae bar. Bring your favorite toppings and enjoy!
