daffodilsPlanting Bulbs in the Fall, a program presented by Debra Stockton, a Cobb County Master Gardener, is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., at Sweetwater Valley Library.

She will talk about flower bulbs, including the anatomy of a bulb as well as where, when and how to plant. Emphasis will be on bulbs to plant in the fall for spring blooming. Daffodils, tulips and some little know beauties will be featured.The September 9 program is free.

Sweetwater Valley Library is located in the Threadmill Mall Complex, 5000 Austell-Powder Springs Road, Suite 123, Austell. The library branch hours are Monday-Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The library is closed Friday through Sunday.
