Members of the Library Board of Trustees Retiring

Charles Switzer and Sally Rhoden

The Cobb County Public Library System Board of Trustees will have a few new faces in 2013; retiring from the board are Mr. Charles Switzer and Mrs. Sally Rhoden.

Mr. Switzer is retiring after 30 years of service on the Board of Trustees. He was appointed to the board in 1982 and has served as Chairman for the last 14 years. He was recently recognized for his years of service with a proclamation by the Cobb County Board of Commissioners; he was also recognized for his service by library staff and volunteers at the library's Staff Appreciation event during National Library Week.

Mrs. Rhoden has served on the Board since 2010 and has been an active member of the Cobb County community for many years. She has dedicated her life to serving others through nonprofit work and we wish her well as she continues in this mission.
