Lack of sleep is a nagging problem for millions of Americans of all ages. For a simple New Year’s Resolution list, many wellness experts recommend making a priority of getting more sleep for a better life.
Research shows failing to sleep enough is a factor in stress, weight gain and other health challenges. Health organizations are taking note of the importance of sleep. For example, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has a Sleep home page.
