Money Smart Week 2019 is March 30 – April 6. A national initiative launched by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Money Smart Week is supported by a range of organizations across the United States, including public libraries.
Money Smart Week events provide financial literacy information for all ages on budgeting, managing student debt, retirement planning, home-buying, couponing, how to prevent identity theft, and much more.

Morningstar Investment Research Center offers a database that has real-time access to comprehensive data on investments such as mutual funds, stocks, exchange-traded and other funds.
Value Line offers tools to beginners and veterans alike advising in areas in investment research on companies, industries, markets and economies.
Gale Courses offers online, instructor-led courses that have a variety of topics of finance and investment to choose from. The six-week, 12-session classes are offered monthly. A few courses from the selection in include:
- Introduction to Stock Options: Learn how to evaluate, buy, sell, and profit with investment tools.
- Personal Finance: Learn to create and use a budget, borrow and invest wisely, make intelligent decisions about insurance, and plan for your financial future.
- Keys to Successful Money Management: a certified financial planner teaches the steps to achieve true financial success.
