September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, a time when the Cobb County Public Library System joins with the American Library Association and public libraries nationwide to make sure that everyone has a free library card.

Resources at the 16 locations of the Cobb County Public Library are available to anyone who has a library card. Cobb libraries offer materials, services and programs that support academic achievement. Resources for all ages include books, events, online courses, and research tools for business applications.

Cardholders should ensure that their library cards are valid and encourage family members, friends, and neighbors to get a card. It’s easy to get one. Library cards are valid for two years for Cobb residents, business owners, and property owners.
