The first meeting of Thyme to Read Book Club, sponsored by the Cobb County Master Gardeners, is Friday, August 8, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The group will meet monthly at the Cobb Water Lab, 660 South Cobb Drive, off Atlanta Road in Marietta. Book club meetings are free and open to the public.

After each of the book club meetings in the fall, the Master Gardeners’ Lunch & Learn series on gardening topics will take place at the Cobb Water Lab from noon to 1 p.m.
