Make it for Teens at Switzer Library on Tuesday, November 28 from 4 pm to 5 pm will feature a guest presenter teaching tweens and teens how to make environmentally friendly art supplies.

Artist and educator Jenn Fletcher will be leading the program for tweens and teens. Jenn is the director and founder of Wildwood, an early learning enrichment program that educates children and encourages them to explore their creativity in a way best suited for them.

Kids will learn how to find and select materials from outside that can be used to create different kinds of art. They will get a demonstration on how to make rock-based paint, and after the lesson they will participate in a hands-on activity with a variety of different eco-friendly homemade art supplies.

Best suited for kids and teens ages 11 – 17.

This program is free and open to the public. To register call (770) 528-2320.

Switzer Library is located at 266 Roswell Street. Marietta, 30060.
