A special preview screening of an episode of a new public television series on the Civil War is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at Kennesaw State University. Scenes from Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Park are featured in Civil War: The Untold Story, a five-hour program premiering in April on PBS stations throughout the United States.

CivilWarEpisode5Presented by Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park and KSU’s Civil War Center, the preview of Episode 5, With Malice Toward None, is slated for March 4, 7 p.m., at the university’s Social Science Auditorium, on the campus off I-75 and Chastain Road. Admission is free.

Along with the screening, the event will also include a panel discussion of Center War Center and National Park Service historians, and a special musical performance by Dr. Oral Moses, KSU professor of voice and music literature.
