About 20 school age children got creative building one-of-a-kind robots during the Switzer Library’s final 2014 Summer Reading Program event for kids Thursday afternoon. Throughout the summer, children and adults have explored science with hands-on activities at the Cobb County Public Library System’s 16 locations. Cobb libraries presented more than 800 programs and activities for all ages through June and July to celebrate reading and promote lifelong literacy.

Join us for “Among the Stars,” the End of Summer Reading Celebration on Saturday, August 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Switzer Library in Marietta. The library will be a spaceship for the Robots and Space-themed special event. For more information, please call (770)528-2330.
