Soon, Cobb County Public Libraries operating hours will expand to include more opportunities to visit at libraries on Saturday mornings and other times.

Daylight Saving Time ends 2 a.m. Sunday morning, it’s the official time to set clocks back one hour. Fire Departments encourage everyone to change smoke detector batteries at the same time.

Election Day is Tuesday, and there is much talk about the minutes or hours, few or many, it takes to vote.

Sports teams are watching the clock, or maybe running out the clock.

Seconds. Minutes. Hours. Weeks. Months. Years. Decades…Centuries.

Present. Future. Past.

For kids and their conversation partners supporting their growth as readers, several books in the Cobb library catalog are about the theme of time and related topics.
