Powder Springs Library

I’m a little behind with my “Library in the Spotlight” post, but it’s not because I don’t love our next branch in our ongoing series; the Powder Springs Library is one of my favorites! This beautiful facility right in the heart of downtown Powder Springs has a great staff and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Powder Springs Library moved into its beautiful new facility in January 2008.  It is located on the campus of the George Ford Senior Center and Reception Hall in Powder Springs, and was built on the site of the old Powder Springs elementary school.  The library serves much of southwest Cobb County and a large number of non-resident patrons in adjoining Paulding County.
