The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) begins at Powder Springs Library on Thursday, August 14, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., with “Food Talk: Your Food, Your Choice.”
The six-week EFNEP program for families is designed to provide timely information on preparing quick, delicious and healthy meals on a limited budget.
The program, presented by the UGA Cooperative Extension Service staff, runs on Thursdays through September 18. Each session features food preparation demonstrations and prizes. Attend all six sessions and receive a certificate of achievement. Powder Springs Library is located at 4181 Atlanta Street, Building 1, Powder Springs.
