Money Smart Week 2018 is April 21 – 28. A national initiative launched by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Money Smart Week is supported by range of organizations across the United States, including public libraries.
Money Smart Week events provide financial literacy information for all ages on budgeting, managing student debt, retirement planning, home-buying, couponing, how to prevent identity theft and much more.
The Cobb County Public Library is partnering with UGA Cobb Extension to offer programs on retirement and estate planning. The presentations will cover a wide variety of topics about the dos and don’ts of estate planning, documents that are needed, and the best strategies to use to make planning go smoothly and efficiently.
