Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County’s monthly Gardeners’ Night Out series lineup for early 2014 starts soon. The evening programs are scheduled for various Cobb County Public Library System branches, including:
- Tuesday, January 21, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at East Cobb Library: “Camellias – Queens of the Southern Winter Garden” with Jim Pruckler of the American Camellia Society
- Tuesday, February 18, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at West Cobb Regional Library: “Creativity in Growing and Using Herbs” with Tracy Minjauw of Chattahoochee Unit of the Herb Society of America
- Tuesday, March 25, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at South Cobb Regional Library: “Evergreen Groundcovers for Sun and Shade” with Master Gardener Shirley Priest
- Tuesday, April 8, 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Mountain View Regional Library: “Moving Toward Organics in the Vegetable Garden” with Amy Whitney of Cobb County Extension
