More than 30 Cobb County area employers are signed up for the free Job Fair presented by the Cobb County Public Library System at the Switzer Library in downtown Marietta on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participating employers for the March 23rd event include representatives from the office, healthcare, retail, education, government, hospitality, law enforcement, transportation, marketing, finance and other job sectors, said librarian Patricia Ball, organizer of the Job Fair. Organizations offering resources for jobseekers will also attend.
“The Job Fair at the library attracts employers of all types,” Ball said. “If you are looking for part-time, full-time, if you are underemployed or just seeking a different opportunity, the library job fair will have something for you.”
Participants signed up for the Job Fair include Cobb County Government, City of Marietta, Chattahoochee Technical College, Georgia Highlands College, Brenau University, Build Cobb Partnership, Bellhaven University, FedEx, Lowe’s, Verizon Wireless, Devereux Health Care, MDF Executive Marketing, Hire Dynamics, ThyssenKrupp, Randstad, Waffle House and CarMax Auto Finance. The participants list may change.
The Job Fair event is open to the public. Reservations are not required.
