“Family Fun & Adventures in History! Stories & Activities for All Ages!”: The 2013 Storytelling Festival is Saturday, October 19, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Mable House Historic Grounds.
The annual fall festival in Mableton features storytellers, music, food, hayrides, children’s craft projects, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more family fun. Featured storytellers include Josie Bailey, Cathy Kaemmerien, Joanna Maddox, Piccadilly Puppets and Pam Johnson-Mother Goose. Free admission.
Food and goodies at the festival include fresh baked goods, vegetable plate lunch, Lion’s Club Annual Bar-B-Q, candied apples and cotton candy.
The Mable House Historic Grounds is located at 5239 Floyd Road in Mableton, near the South Cobb Regional Library.
