Preparing for Disasters: Floods! Earthquakes! Zombies?, a program by the Cobb County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), will be presented at Powder Springs Library on Monday, June 16, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The free workshop by Bernard King of the Cobb County EMA is designed to give the general public information on how to prepare to survive a disaster and to live through the aftermath. The program includes safety tips and information on being prepared with emergency food and water.
In an emergency, essential services may be cut off and disaster relief and government responders may not be able to reach you right away. This program will help you with developing your personal disaster plan for various emergency scenarios.
