COBB Cooks the Book! at Mountain View Regional Library on Tuesday, May 24 from 7 pm to 8 pm. The focus of this book club is to explore and share new recipes and treats from some of our favorite cookbooks.  Theme for this month – International Foods. Here’s how it works: Choose a recipe from one of the selected cook books and bring a batch to share at the next meeting. First Wednesdays in the Georgia Room: How to Write Your Family’s Story at Switzer Library on Wednesday, June 1 from 7 pm to 8 pm. Join the staff of the Georgia Room on the first Wednesday of each month to discover how the Georgia Room’s resources and staff can help you track down family history information as well as preserve the family history materials that you have. Light refreshments will be served. It’s Elementary! Ka Academy of Indian Music and Dance at Mountain View Regional on Tuesday, June 7 Library from 3 pm to 3:45 pm. Local expert Gayatri Subramanian will share her knowledge of Indian dance and even teach some basic moves. Age Group: Completed Grades K-5. Conversational Spanish/English Workshop at Switzer Library beginning Monday, August 1 from 7 pm to 8 pm. Sessions on Mondays which will provide attendees an ongoing opportunity to learn either English or Spanish in an informal format.
