The East Cobb Book Discussion Group meets the third Thursday of every month, the morning session at 11 am, and the afternoon session at 2 pm. In December both groups meet at 11 am. This is a computer class for adults that covers the basics of internet browsing, navigating websites, effective Google searching, and printing. Participants will also receive instruction on how to set up and utilize a Gmail account. Participants should attend a Computer Basics class before attending this class. No registration is required, but space is limited. Class will be held in the Woody Thompson meeting room on the third Thursday of the month.

Bookworms–Light Up the Night

Light up the dark winter nights as you create your own sparkling luminary lantern! Use your lantern to colorfully light up your room or yard. We’ll also explore the qualities of light and look through a spectroscope to reveal the wavelengths of light that mix together to create the colors you see! This 45 minute program is for children in grades K-3.
