Spending time stimulating senses helps children develop cognitively, linguistically, socially and emotionally, physically and creatively. During this sensory play time, various stations will be set up and children can spend as much time as they would like at each one. This three-week STEAM program is designed for children birth to pre-school. Each week will focus on different sensory play activities. Banana? Piano? Banana Piano!

No one is too young to learn about technology when you are making a banana piano. Yes, you read that right. In this workshop, we will be using the Makey Makey Kit to make banana pianos and other fun things to celebrate computer science education week. Children will learn about how computers transport information through everyday objects. This program is open to children of all ages (although younger computer scientists may need parental assistance).  All supplies are provided.
