Make It Thursday is our Arts and Crafts Club for kids ages 5-9. This week: Freedom Quilts In honor of Black History Month, we will be making Freedom Quilts. During the time of the Underground Railroad, quilts were often used as maps. The quilt patterns held the clues to the safe routes to freedom. Design your own pattern and make a freedom quilt from construction paper.
