Girls Who Code Club will begin on Aug 24th @ 1 pm and the club will meet each Saturday.   Girls grades 6th to 12th grade are welcome to join.   Girls Who Code mission is to close the gender gap in technology and change the image of what a programmer looks like and does.   Girls Who Code is building the largest pipeline of future female engineers in the United States. This class is for the computer novice. In this class students will gain a basic understanding about the parts of a computer and learn how to perform basic functions, such as using a keyboard and a mouse. Registration is not required, but space is limited. Prerequisite: None. Class is held on the first Tuesday of every month except for January's class, which will be held on the 8th.

The classes are held in Study Room A from 5 to 8 pm on Tuesdays, whenever the AEC is opened. Classes will be held at the South Cobb Regional Library from October 1 through December 17.
