The Cobb/Paulding Adult Education Center (AEC) is offering GED preparation classes at South Cobb Regional Library. Students receive instruction in reading, math, and language. This class will demonstrate how to access and use the library’s databases and learning resources. It will also go over how to use your mobile devices to access the eBooks and audiobooks available in the library’s collection. No registration is required, but space is limited. Class will be held quarterly in the George “Woody” Thompson meeting room on the third Thursday of the month in March, June, September, and December.

Take a virtual trip to the Georgia Aquarium using Virtual Reality sponsored by the Georgia Aquarium and the Georgia Public Library System on Monday, September 23rd at 2 pm. Explore the ocean, swim with manatees and go deep sea diving without getting wet!  We’ll also have hands on STEM activities to learn about conservation and preservation of our oceans.
