Celebration of Black History Art Exhibit @Vinings Library
Vinings Library is hosting an art exhibit in honor of Black History Month this February. All are welcome to visit the library and enjoy the beautiful art that is on display. Patrons are also invited to meet the local artists at a reception on Saturday April 6th from 1:30-3:30pm at the library. The Art Exhibit is sponsored by South Cobb Arts Alliance. The Cobb County Public Library System and AARP are partnering together to provide a free, volunteer-run tax assistance and preparation service. AARP tax assistance is for lower and middle income taxpayers, with special attention to those 60 years of age and older. First-come, first served. Late arrivals may have to wait until the next day on the schedule for service. Free AARP Tax-Aide service will be provided from February 7th through April 11, 2019 at the West Cobb Regional Library.…

Itsy Bitsy Babies is for infants up to age 1. It lasts 20 minutes and can include short stories, bounces, rhymes, finger plays, music, shaker eggs, dancing, parachute play, and scarves. Families are encouraged to stay after to talk, play, and read. Activities promote pre-literacy and motor skills through movement, rhyme, song, and dance. No registration required. All storytimes require a participating adult.
