Towel Day Screening of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center

May 25 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Towel Day is celebrated every year on May 25 as a tribute to the author Douglas Adams by his fans. On this day, fans openly carry a towel with them, as described in Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Come celebrate this geek holiday with us at a special screening of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy!

Mere seconds before the Earth is to be demolished by an alien construction crew, journeyman Arthur Dent is swept off the planet by his friend Ford Prefect, a researcher penning a new edition of “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.” Rated PG.

The screening will be held in the black box theater. Feel free to bring your own food and drink to enjoy during the movie!
