The 2020 Census and Your Community by the Numbers

South Cobb Regional Library

Tuesday, September 17 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

Census data is an essential tool for decision-makers planning our community’s future. Explore the importance of a Complete Count for the 2020 Census with Anh (Luke) Nguyen, Data Dissemination Specialist of the U.S. Census Bureau. Examine data visualization maps and other resources on the community population, demographics, business data and more with a data expert.

Census data impacts funding for education, healthcare, transportation, emergency services and social services. The Census results are used to shape the boundaries for federal, state and local government elected representation. Census data is “big data” for decisions about small business growth.
