Preview Screening of Ken Burn’s Country Music film documentary at North Cobb Regional Library

North Cobb Regional Library has partnered with PBS television to bring a preview of Ken Burn’s new documentary on Country Music to library patrons. The 45 minute screening event will start at 7pm and afterwards viewers are invited to a reception where country music lovers will discuss their thoughts about the film preview and chat about their favorite tunes.

On September 15th your local PBS station will premiere COUNTRY MUSIC: A Film By Ken Burns, which explores the history of a uniquely American art form and how it evolved over the 20th century and emerged to become America’s music.  It features never-before-seen footage and photographs, plus interviews with more than 80 country music artists. This eight-part 16-hour series is directed and produced by Ken Burns; written and produced by Dayton Duncan; and produced by Julie Dunfey.
