Join us for Poets Read, a gathering of poets and poetry lovers. Our guest poets will read their poems and share the inspiration behind their works.

Open Mic – 6:30 – 7:00

Here’s your chance to share your own poetry! Sign the open mic sheet as soon as you arrive Tuesday night.

Cheryl Stiles has published numerous poems, essays, and reviews in journals such as Poet Lore, 32 Poems, The Atlanta Review, Storysouth, SLANT, Plainsongs, Southern Women’s Review, Pilgrimage, and POEM. Her work has received the Agnes Scott Literary Festival Prize and a Pushcart nomination. In 2005 she started La Vita Poetica Press, a small press devoted to producing limited-edition, handcrafted chapbooks and broadsides.

Katie Fesuk is a Massachusetts native, teaches English in Marietta, Georgia and earned degrees from four Georgia universities. Her full-length manuscript, Mamabird (FLP), will be released in January 2020. Fesuk’s poems appear in more than forty journals; she was a GAYA nominee for If Not an Apple.

Eve Hoffman has been honored by her alma mater Smith College as a “Remarkable Woman” and by Georgia Trend as one of a hundred influential people in the state. Her books include Memory & Complicity, chapbooks Red Clay and SHE and interviews of twenty-one models impacted by breast cancer, which accompany Sal Brownfield’s paintings in A Celebration of Healing.
