Sewell Mill Library & Cultural Center

January 23, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Enjoy a screening and Q&A with a local film professional! Our inaugural guest is Cobb County filmmaker Rozalyn Mattocks. She will be showing her latest short Just Open the Door and answering your questions afterward.

Rozalyn Mattocks is a screenwriting, directing, acting, mother of four. A lover of all things film, she once said she would cut grass on a project she believed in just to see it made. Rozalyn studied film at Georgia State University, then went on to continuing workshops on screenwriting and acting. She works on independent projects on the weekends, while working in television during the week. She has several music videos out in which she’s the first AD, countless student projects, and two finished shorts in circulation. Rozalyn is currently working on her third short, a horror film called Perspective, all while managing a crazy insane bunch of weirdos at home. She couldn’t be happier.
