Kennesaw Tuesday Evening Book Discussion

Kennesaw Library

Tuesday, July 23 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us at the Kennesaw Library each month on the fourth Tuesday afternoon or evening for a lively book discussion. Newcomers are always welcome. The groups read and discuss a variety of works including fiction and non-fiction classics, a variety of genres, and a mix of cultures and time periods. We make every effort to have the book selections available for checkout at the Kennesaw Branch.

Today’s title: An American Marriage by Tayari Jones. c2018.  African-American and Contemporary Fiction.

Newlyweds Celestial and Roy are the embodiment of both the American Dream and the New South. He is a young executive and she is an artist on the brink of an exciting career. But as they settle into the routine of their life together, they are ripped apart by circumstances neither could have imagined.
