Kennesaw Tuesday Evening Book Discussion

Tuesday, April 23, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Join us at the Kennesaw Library each month on the fourth Tuesday afternoon or evening for a lively book discussion. Newcomers are always welcome. The groups read and discuss a variety of works including fiction and non-fiction classics, a variety of genres, and a mix of cultures and time periods. We make every effort to have the book selections available for checkout at the Kennesaw Branch.

Today’s title: Before the Fall by Noah Hawley. c2016. Suspense.

On a foggy summer night, eleven people–ten privileged, one down-on-his-luck painter–depart Martha’s Vineyard on a private jet headed for New York. Sixteen minutes later, the unthinkable happens: the plane plunges into the ocean. The only survivors are Scott Burroughs-the painter-and a four-year-old boy, who is now the last remaining member of an immensely wealthy and powerful media mogul’s family.

As the passengers’ intrigues unravel, odd coincidences point to a conspiracy. Was it merely by dumb chance that so many influential people perished? Or was something far more sinister at work?
