Ever wanted to explore the world of zines but didn’t know how?  Need a place to create your zines but didn’t have access?

In Zines We Trust is a safe space for zinesters of all backgrounds and skill levels to share ideas, work on current projects and share our love for all things ZINE!

Each month has a theme:

August – Photography

September – Sewing

October – Halloween Zine!

November – ZineWriMo!

What’s a zine? A zine (pronounced ZEEN) is similar to a magazine but anyone can make them and they can be about anything!  Usually a zine consists of collage art, poetry and illustrations (to name a few) on a subject that the creator is interested in.  It can then be photocopied and distributed.

Feel free to bring any materials that you enjoy using and are willing to share with your fellow zinesters.  Zine reading and swapping is encouraged.  Beginner and experienced zinesters are welcome!  Questions?  Email Alexa at alexa.lima@cobbcounty.org.
