How To: Ancestry Library Edition [Virtual Program]

Thursday, June 11 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

| Free
PLEASE NOTE: This program will occur online and will not take place in the library. See the link below to join the program at the specified time.

We’re back! Please join the Georgia Room as we review how to use Ancestry Library Edition through the Cobb County Public Library System. The database is currently free to use from home! Please keep in mind that you MUST have a library card in order to use the library’s subscription to Ancestry from home.

If you have had the opportunity to work on your own genealogy, or possibly just walked through the Georgia Room and spoken with the staff, you may have heard of Ancestry. The Georgia Room has used Ancestry Library Edition for years as a genealogy resource due to the millions of records available to the public for free. Please join us as we review some tips and tricks on how to navigate and interpret the records available to access from home with your library card!

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the North Cobb Regional Library at 770-801-5320 and ask for Katie Nelson. You can also reach out by email at nelsonk@cobbcat.org. No pre-registration is required.
