Free Eye Exams and Glasses by Vision To Learn: April 1st @ South Cobb

Please note: Registration is closed for the Vision To Learn visit at West Cobb Regional Library on April 5th as all appointment spaces are filled. Registration is full for all five Vision To Learn visits during Spring Break 2019 at Cobb libraries.
The Vision To Learn mobile clinic will return to South Cobb Regional Library in Mableton on Monday, April 1st from 9:30 a.m. to 3 pm. Vision To Learn will offer vision screenings, eye exams, and, if necessary, glasses for children ages 5-18.
These services are free and will be provided at no cost to you.
During Spring Break Week, Vision To Learn visits are scheduled for five Cobb County Public Library locations. Also scheduled for visits from 9:30 am to 3 pm are Tuesday, April 2nd: Switzer Library; Wednesday, April 3rd, Gritters Library; Thursday, April 4, Stratton Library; and Friday, April 5: West Cobb Regional Library.
Vision To Learn’s Atlanta area program is supported by the Atlanta Hawks Foundation. Launched in Los Angeles in 2012, Vision To Learn entered Georgia in 2017 and is now in 13 states.
Cobb libraries, including South Cobb Library, hosted Vision To Learn visits during Summer Break 2018 with more than 100 children receiving free glasses. The visits were the first for Vision To Learn in Cobb County and at a Georgia Public Library.
Collective Impact in Action: The upcoming Vision To Learn events are part of Cobb County Public Libraries’ efforts to collaborate with organizations offering “bright spots” identified by Learn4Life (L4L), the Metro Atlanta Regional Education Partnership, for improving “cradle to career” success.
