East Cobb Book Club – Morning & Afternoon COMBINED
Thursday, December 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:30 pm| Free
For December, the East Cobb Library Book Club will combine both the AM and PM groups into one big end-of-the-year celebration. Members are encouraged to bring items for a potluck style luncheon. Everyone is welcome as we love to hear different opinions and perspectives. The East Cobb Library Book Club reads a wide variety of literature, including fiction, non-fiction, classics and new releases. Every effort is made to have the selected books for check-out at the branch library, however, we sometimes need to change the selection, due to not enough copies of the title being available. Please call 770-509-2730 to confirm this month’s title. New members and visitors are always welcome!
The title scheduled for this month’s discussion is “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens.
Schedule and books:
September 19 – “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba (Biography)
October 17 – “An American Marriage” by Tayari Jones (Fiction)
November 21 – “Glass Houses” by Louis Penny (Fiction)
December 19 – “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens (Classics)
