East Cobb Book Club – Afternoon

East Cobb Library

Thursday, October 17 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

| Free

The East Cobb Book Club meets the third Thursday of every month, the morning session at 11 am, and the afternoon session at 2 pm. We read a wide variety of literature, including fiction, non-fiction, classics and new releases. Every effort is made to have the selected books for check-out at the branch library, however, we sometimes need to change the selection, due to not enough copies of the title being available.

Please call 770-509-2730 to confirm this month’s title. New members and visitors are always welcome!

The title scheduled for this month’s PM discussion is “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba.

Upcoming schedule and books:

September 19 – “An American Marriage: by Tayari Jones  (Fiction)

October 17 – “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind” by William Kamkwamba  (Biography)

November 21 – “Glass Houses” by Louis Penny  (Fiction)

December 19 – “A Tale of Two Cities” by Charles Dickens  (Classics)
